DenDen Town’s Street Festa

15th Mar 2007 by Ian · No Comments

DenDen Town, the famous electrical district in Osaka also know as Nipponbashi, is having a street festa (party) on the 21st March 2007.  The 21st is a public holiday so it’s going to be packed but it looks a lot of fun.  From my limited Japanese, it seems the area will be turned into a pedrestian area.  it will have parades, robot events, cosplay events and characters apperances.  And yes, even the popular maid cafe waitresses will be out and about.

The web site is only in Japanese but it has an image of the flyer I picked up.

To get to DenDen Town, take the Sakaisuji subway line (Brown) to the Ebisucho station (K18) and take the exit 1A or 1B.
