Summer has officially started here in Japan so you’ll see a lot of beer gardens and stand-up beer stalls springing up around Osaka. I love the beer stalls, which can be found in station areas like the Hankyu Department Store area.
It has almost nothing to do with Osaka but what the heck, vote for your favourite beer (or happoshu) in the comments.
I’ll start things off.

My favourite beer is Suntory Premium Malts and when I can’t afford that I like Asahi Kubinama happoshu

Clear favourite is Ebisu Black. It’s clearly in the same league as European black beers. Asahi black draught beer is not bad at all either (our nearby Kushikatsuya has it). For pale beers, Sapporo is very good, but often a bit hard to find.
I’ve long been doing a post comparing dark beers I can find here; at some point I may even get off my butt and finish it

Asahi hands down!! But I also like Saporro. Don’t like DRAFT one tho, that beer is blegh!!!
I’m sad to say I didn’t try many beers in Japan. In fact that will be one of my missions when I return :S

Well I like Lager beer the best, and although there are some very nice Japanese Largers out there, you can’t go past the standard Kirin Lager. Although I really dont like the other Kirin beers so much.
My favourite brewery would have to be Sapporo.
Does anyone know of a good Japanese wheat beer (like Hoegaarden)?
